Did you know that . . . On the 12th day of Deutschunterricht, my Deutschlehrer gave to me, 12 things Made in Germany:
12 ----- a CD of German songs, which includes Edelweiß,
Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht,
Halleluja Chor,
and Oh Tannenbaum, Oh Tannenbaum
11 ----- a choice of a Hummel, Levis, Kölnisches Wasser 4711, Adidas Sportschuhe, or a Steinway Klavier;
10 ----- Lederhosen or Dirndl;
9 ----- a Märchenbuch from the Brüder Grimm;
8 ----- a ski trip to the Bayerische Alpen on the Zupspitze mountain peak in Bavaria, Including jodeln and playing an Alpenhorn;
7 ----- a Kuckucksuhr from the Schwarzwald;
6 ----- a Rhine River cruise from Bingen to Köln in September, which stops in the many wine villages and cities to participate in the many Weinfeste by sampling the local Wein;
5 ----- a Bierkrug from the Löwenbräu beer tent, 1 of the 16 tents where you can experience German Gemütlichkeit
for 16 days during mid-September to the beginning of Oktober on the Wies'n
in München during Oktoberfest;
