      “Meistertrunk” is an annual festival, which re-enacts the plight of the town in 1631 during the Thirty Years War.

        • Today it is performed 3 times throughout the year:

        • Only the people of Rothenburg are permitted to march in the parade and perform in the „Meistertrunk” play.

      4. Historical Handcraft Market
    • Important facts:
      1. Figures of Graf Tilly and Bürgermeister Nusch on the clocks on outside of Town Councillor’s Tavern come out at 11 am, 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 9 pm, and 10 pm daily.
      2. 2. Each of the 4 days is characterized through a variety of activities: a peaceful town on Friday, a besieged town on Saturday, a free town on Sunday, and a fortunate happy town on Monday.
